WICHITA FALLS, TX — The Warriors are pleased to announce that the team has acquired 2002-born defenseman Blake Arneson in a trade with the Northeast Generals.
Arneson is an NAPHL graduate, hailing from the Sioux Falls Power program, where he posted a standout season in his final year of midget hockey in 2018-19 (23-26–49 in 59 games). The left-handed skater also has some junior experience — last season, he played 24 games with the Generals in the NAHL East Division.
“We are excited to have been able to acquire Blake,” Head Coach Garrett Roth said. “He brings good offensive instincts and a big itime shot that will help create offense off the rush. His experience in the league will put him in a good situation to make an impact for us right away.”
Fans can catch Arneson at games this fall in the Warriors’ inaugural season. Season tickets are currently on sale here.
Players interested in being part of the Warriors can currently register for Pre-Draft Camp here.
