Wichita Falls Tenders Forward Luke Panchisin

WICHITA FALLS, TX — The Wichita Falls Warriors are pleased to announce that they have signed 2002-born, right-handed forward Luke Panchisin to a tender contract for the 2020-21 season.

The 5-foot-7, 150-pound Illinois native is currently playing in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League (T1EHL) with the U18 Chicago Fury.  This is his first season with the U18 team. He has recorded 13 goals and 15 assists in 22 games played up to this point. Last season, Panchisin had a breakout year with the organization’s U16 team, finishing with 17 goals and 16 assists in 36 games.

The forward described himself as “a fast, aggressive, smart and skillful dynamic forward with goal-scoring and playmaking abilities.” What he brings to Wichita Falls, Panchisin says, are his “offensive abilities that will help create offense and scoring opportunities for the team.”

Panchisin is the first forward tendered by Wichita Falls and joins defenseman Lane Ruffner in a strong recruiting class for the upcoming 2020-21 season, the Warriors’ first in the league.

Season tickets for the inaugural season are available now for as little as $24 per month! Fans can learn more by clicking here.

*A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NAPHL – plus or minus any trades – which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 2, 2020. *
