WICHITA FALLS, TX — The Wichita Falls Warriors are pleased to announce that they have signed 2002-born, right-handed forward Chase Davis to a tender contract for the 2020-21 season.
The Georgia native is 6-foot-4 and weighs 190 pounds. He is currently playing with the U18 Nashville Jr. Predators. This season, he has registered 12 goals and 16 assists in 44 games played. “Playing in Nashville has allowed me to take my game to the next level,” Davis said. “The team and coaches have helped me further develop as a player on and off the ice.”
Davis describes himself as a “big fast player with precision passing and a hard shot to create chances” who can “push the pace of the game with [his] speed and size.”
Davis is the third forward and the fourth overall player tendered by the Warriors as they continue to work towards building their roster. He joins Luke Panchisin (F), Nick Urtis (F), and Lane Ruffner (D) in a strong recruiting class for the upcoming 2020-21 season, the Warriors’ first in the league.
Season tickets for the inaugural season are available now for as little as $24 per month! Fans can learn more by clicking here.
The Warriors have announced the dates and locations of their two camps prior to the NAHL Draft. More information can be found here and players can register for camps here.
*A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NAPHL – plus or minus any trades – which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 2, 2020. *
