Wichita Falls, TX- The Wichita Falls Warriors are pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew Weiss as the new Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations position.
Weiss went to school at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut where he graduated a year early with a bachelors degree in journalism. Moved on to graduate school at Northwestern University in Chicago where he got his masters degree in journalism. Weiss previously worked with the Bismarck Bobcats for the last two years, as their Director of Broadcasting and Media. Weiss also made stops working with the Yale Bulldogs as a sports publicity assistant, the Connecticut Whale of the NWHL, and a stint as an intern with the Tampa Bay Lighting in their radio department.
“I’m very excited and proud to join the Warriors organization. I can’t wait to bring great content and a professional broadcast to the incredible fans in Wichita Falls, and I look forward to becoming part of the Warriors community”, said Weiss.
