WICHITA FALLS, TX- The Warriors have tendered 2002 defenseman Garrett Horsager. The 6-0, 170 pound, left handed defenseman is from Rosemount, MN and is currently playing the 2020-21 season with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the NAPHL 18U. This season, Horsager has recorded 12 points in 10 games played, assisting on 11 of his 12 points.
“I decided to sign with the Warriors because my family and I felt it was a good fit for me with the coaching staff and the opportunity to continue to develop with them”, said Horsager. He believes his puck moving style of play can help add to the Warriors defensive unit. “My playing style is a puck moving, defensive defenseman. I will bring strong defense and consistency to the organization.”
With 11 assists in his first 10 games played this season, Horsager is off to a strong start with the Buccaneers. “It’s been good in Des Moines. It’s been a transition going from high school to AAA, but there’s a great group of guys there and it’s a great organization to be part of.”
